Mikayla DePalo

Mikayla DePalo joined Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP after completing her Juris Doctor at Griffith University in Australia. Born and raised in Niagara, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Sociology from Brock University before studying law overseas. DePalo articled with Martin Sheppard Fraser in 2025 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2026. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, including Small Claims Court matters and landlord‑tenant disputes. She is praised for her advocacy skills, collaborative spirit and clear communication. Outside of her practice she enjoys reading, yoga, travel and outdoor activities. DePalo represents a new generation of Niagara lawyers bringing global perspectives—her training in both Canadian and international legal systems enriches her client service.
